Intimate Summer Wedding at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

T & A travelled from the UK in the summer of 2019 to celebrate their love for each other with their closest friends and family along the famous shoreline of Chateau Lake Louise in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. As their Banff wedding planner, we worked with them to design and plan a stress free intimate wedding in the mountains, across the ocean with differing time zones!

The colour palette inspiration stemmed from the bride’s favourite flower, the toffee rose, along with pops of plum, mauve and blush. From the glamorous details of her stunning Made With Love bridal gown and Jimmy Choo heels to the cute stamped sugar cookies and nearly naked cutting cake, we celebrated T & A in style. Also, how stunning is the grooms emerald green velvet blazer! Obsessed!

The custom designed triangle arch from JM Wilkinson Rentals adorned with a beautiful floral swag from Banff wedding florist Flowers By Janie popped against the turquoise blue waters of Lake Louise. With a smaller guest list we wanted to create the illusion of a longer aisle, and opted for a few vintage rugs leading up to the arch. After the ceremony along the shore of Lake Louise we drove up to the even more famous Moraine Lake (which luckily had a few parking spots left!) to take the most memorable bridal portraits. Banff wedding photographer Kadie Hummel Photographer took the two newlyweds up for the most gorgeous photo back drop of the lake.
