After not one but two postponements of their vineyard wedding in Arizona due to the pandemic, Brianna and Michael reached out to us to assist in planning a local minimony in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. At first Brianna and I discussed a date in the summer for them to tie the knot but after she mentioned her idea of getting married on the day of their nine year anniversary, I knew we had to make that happen. With exactly 30 days to hire a new vendor team and design the intimate ceremony of their dreams, we selected the Banff Springs Hotel which has a romantic and vintage yet slightly royal feel. Their day arrived with some gorgeous sunshine and a touch of snow in the afternoon and they became husband and wife in the presence of their closest family with their bridal party on live stream. Their love showed that you don’t need to wait until your original plan can happen, sometimes Plan B is exactly as it was meant to be. Our advice? Don’t wait, get married, celebrate twice! Banff wedding florist, Flowers By Janie, created simple but romantic altar arrangements in ivory, peach and blush to place in the Angus Room at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, along with a lush, garden style bridal bouquet. Candles adorned the fireplace mantle with just enough chairs for their immediate family. They danced away after their ceremony in the iconic Mount Stephen Hall before heading to an intimate dinner at the Vermillion Room Restaurant.
